Out of concern and preservation of the national heritage, the Algerian State paid special attention to the field of archives immediately after independence, especially in the early seventies and in the eighties. It went through several stages, including the issuance of many legislative and regulatory texts that reflect the keenness of the public authorities to provide the National Archives Center with the necessary means for the good management and care of the national archives heritage.
